On a rainy Friday at the end of September, we followed tour guide Katie Lyle on a public art tour for Culture Days, starting at the Vancouver Convention Centre and following Hornby Street to the Vancouver Art Gallery. The rain did not seem to bother anyone. “The Drop” by Inges Idee, located by the Convention Centre, provided a humorous touch given the rain.

Still, a group of 10 people showed up to explore the hidden art treasures within the urban landscape. The tour took approximately an hour and offered specific insight on multiple public art works.
