Join Public Art Vancouver for a Guided Tour of Public Art Pieces in the City!

PUBLIC ART WALKING TOURS – CULTURE DAYS, SEPTEMBER 26th, 27th & 28th, 2014

This year, the City of Vancouver Public Art Walking Tours will consist of two walks: Yaletown/False Creek, and a new circuit that begins and ends at Vancouver City Centre Canada Line Station. This will be the first year of the City Centre tour that will include a number of artworks in the area, including works at the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson Square.

Each tour is approximately 1 hour and will stop at 15 artworks. Sculptural works, public art landmarks, architectural collaborations, text-based interventions, mixed media, conceptual art and a few hidden gems will give visitors and locals an opportunity to experience a sampling of what Vancouver’s Public Art Program has to offer. The featured artworks span decades, trace history, and represent civic, public and independent projects.
