Vancouver Heritage Foundation is accepting proposals from emerging and established visual artists and independent curators for the next WALL project, to be installed this fall. The WALL is a large-format artist platform made possible through a unique partnership between Vancouver Heritage Foundation and CBC/Radio-Canada. It is produced in partnership with the City of Vancouver Public Art Program with additional support from JJ Bean Coffee Roasters. The WALL is a 60’x 40’ venue for annual commissions of 2D artworks, located at CBC Vancouver’s studios on Hamilton Street between Georgia and Robson. The selected artist or curator will have the opportunity to explore the CBC Archives to research and inform their artwork intended for exhibition on The WALL.
The deadline to apply is February 28, 2022 at 5pm.
